Our relationship with food greatly affects our moods, self value and overall health. Food medicine chef Bianca Martinez helps us navigate what eating healthy truly means and gives us the tools to create delicious healing meals that can nourish us for a lifetime! Now more than ever we can harm ourselves with foods that are full of chemicals, pesticides and genetically modified ingredients. Raw Foods & Healthy Desserts I

Come cool down in the kitchen with food medicine chef Bianca Rose Martinez and learn some fun raw food techniques. Learn sprouting and dehydrating basics, raw plant milks, veggie chips, seed pates, raw dressings plus a raw avocado mousse with pecan date crust. You don’t have to be a raw foodist to enjoy the incredible health benefits of nutrient dense, fresh organic foods!

Vegan Cheese Class

Chef Bianca Rose Martinez shows how to make delicious dairy-free cheeses including sliceable rounds, creamy herb cheeses, melty “moxerella” perfect parm and more. Class includes live demos, hands on activities, recipes plus organic wine and gluten-free mini pizzas, toasts and crudite to accompany all our creations!

Gluten-Free Cooking & Baking Class

Once exclusively available for retreat participants, Bianca is sharing some of her special gluten free recipes with class participants, some recipes for the first time ever! Learn the difference between gluten-free flours and how best to use them, how to make your own custom blends for different 
applications, trouble shooting common gluten-free baking issues. Menu includes, cake, muffins, pizza dough, Biancas coveted Gluten free bread plus hand made and pressed cassava wraps and corn tortillas!

Healthy Holiday Inspiration Cooking Class
November 19th 1-4pm

This fun, information packed class will take you through a delicious 4 course alternative holiday inspired meal with creative appetizers, salad, sides, main dish ideas and dessert using all organic, gluten-free, plant-based ingredients. Learn GF baking tips, how to make egg-free binders, ways to use low glycemic sweeteners and tips for herb and spice combining to create a wonderfully harmonious taste experience! We will be making 3 different kinds of stuffing, coconut cream butternut spice pie with gluten-free crust, creamy dairy free mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, zesty green beans with lemon dill sauce and capers plus creative mains using our yummy stuffings and tasty appetizer ideas.

Annual Tamale Making Class

Hooray for tamale season! Learn to make your own delicious tamales using all organic non-GMO corn masa, made with love not lard!  We will be making 3 different kinds of vegan and vegetarian tamales along with some traditional Spanish/Mexican sides, including guacamole, frijoles and raw hemp milk horchata! as well as learning about the history and health benefits of ancient maize (corn). Class includes hands on learning, recipes and a shared meal at the end of the class. Tamales will be made with shredded jackfruit with red sauce, chili cashew cheese and chili goat cheese tamales.
